This is a phrase that I say over and over again (in fact, my parishioners may sometimes tire of me saying it). In this generation, which so often encourages selfish pursuits of happiness (while equating that to love), we need to hear this reminder that love is about willing the good of the other. This almost always requires sacrifice on our part.
