about

Words and music © 2015 Kenneth L. O’Connor
I don’t think that I was really aware of how much brokenness there was in the world until I started hearing confessions as a priest. It’s one of the unique privileges of being a priest: that I see people at their most broken moments. And I believe that it’s one of the most sacred things that I do as a priest: to bring some healing where there is the brokenness. I’d also like to point out that this song takes a turn at the final verse, where I, too, am subject to the brokenness.
